Introducing: The Anti-Burnout Exercise Booklet

I didn’t mean to create this booklet, but once I had it, I knew it was too valuable not to share.

Originally, this came about as a way to practice the exercises in “Ask and It Is Given” by Esther and Jerry Hicks. As I went along, it began to gain new depth, introducing new exercises, and shifted into something entirely new: a lifeline out of burnout.

What if burnout isn’t a productivity problem... but an energy problem?

I typed up this anti-burnout exercise booklet to help you shift the energy behind burnout — the invisible stuff that rest alone can’t fix.

In this article, you can expect:

  • The exact process I used to go from stuck, depleted, and lost to clarity, peace, and unexpected breakthroughs in just 30 days.

  • a perspective on manifestation and feeling good inspired by David R Hawkins, Abraham-Hicks, Marianne Williamson, and Rhonda Byrne.

  • A full walkthrough of all necessary information and how to use each aspect of this system.

  • A printable template and instructions to paste into your journal.

This article is absolutely free for all my premium subscribers. Shout out to you guys! You definitely help me keep this community up and running.

System Introduction

I stole the beginning of this idea from “Ask and It is Given” by Esther and Jerry Hicks and modified it to be an anti-burnout lifeline. During my most recent burnout, I used this system every day for a month, and I quickly got better. It helped me figure out why I wasn’t feeling fulfilled at work, how to reconnect to purpose, and even helped me manifest money and a new relationship.

*This post is meant to explain the entire process. The actual booklet page will be included as a free digital file at the very end. Keep reading to get the link!

It’s simple to use.

Every morning, before getting started with the productive bit of your day, sit down and identify where you’re at on the feelings scale. Then, using your results, find a matching exercise to perform. The main idea here is to get you constantly connected to what you feel and what you’d like to feel, and then to find ways to close the gap.

Originally, I used the Abraham-Hicks scale, but I found the David R. Hawkins one to be better. I’ve also removed and added some exercises to make the entire booklet more burnout-specific.

It is important you do these exercises by hand on a piece of paper with a pencil or pen. You can print out this information and paste it into a journal of your choice, or you can hand-copy it out if you’d prefer. I have all of this handwritten into the first few pages of a 14cm x 20cm journal that I like. I’ll show you some pictures of my setup at the end.

For ease of reference, the very first page of your journal must contain the Exercise Glossary as well as a copy of the feelings scale. Both of these are available in the downloadable file.

The next few pages should be the exercise instructions, also included in the downloadable file. Finally, each day when you wake up, begin a new page, and keep some sort of paperclip or bookmark to mark as you go along.

With this system, it took me almost exactly a month to pull myself out of burnout. Your results may vary. But don’t do it because you want to heal enough to be productive again! Do it because you recognize getting to a place of burnout is a sign you’re not connected to yourself, and dedicating 10 minutes to yourself every morning is an excellent way to rebuild that trust.

With all of that said, let’s get into the anti-burnout exercise booklet.
